a moment's peace

a moment's peace, originally uploaded by ebbandflo_pomomama.

sigh! i'm on holiday so there's not much going on except on the knitting pins and in the sketch book where i'm doodling some ideas for a forest/tree-inspired range of felted pieces.

happy holidays :)

sunshine around your neck

A bright and cheerful wire crochet bib necklace made up of individual daisies.
The centres are glass hoops, swarovski pearls or white jasper.
The necklace hangs slightly asymmetrically.

wire daisy goodness me

As the more observant among you may have noticed, I haven't exactly been setting my online world on fire with keeping my shops current (or, in the case of my Etsy store, stocked even!). My excuse is that it's the middle of the summer holidays, I have very little time and I've been keeping busy with teaching or local markets.

Imagine my surprise then to find myself in one of the new Artfire member-curated collections!
Thanks AllWiredUpToo!

crafty take aways

crafty take aways, originally uploaded by ebbandflo_pomomama.

Been busy today (Happy BC day btw).
These cute little craft take aways will be for sale at my next New Westminster Farmer's Market on Thursday.
They're especially for those of you who can't make it to class - each tote contains instructions, wire and beads for a beginner class project. You can make either a three strand necklace and bracelet set, or a wire mesh cuff.
Prices range between $25 and $32, and the crochet hook is included!

on display

my necklace - fame
on display in the Plum Gallery case

All quiet on the blog front but a hive of activity in the studio - I seem to have found my mojo again, just in time for the Wee Guy to be out of camp and thus 24/7 parenting once more.

Yesterday I finished assembling some wire crochet craft kit take-aways which will be on sale this Thursday at New Westminster Farmer's Market (I'm sharing a stall with Momma Nellie's Salsas!).

And while I have been slumbering, my work is on display with the Blackberry Artist's Society at the arts centre of Port Moody.
